Well, Teri's on board. It's taken me most of the afternoon to get this far. Such an internet dummy! Patti and I have come up with the "Family Village Idiot" for me. If the shoe fits.........
I agree with Patti about yesterday's doctor visit being life altering. Thoughts of mom (and dad) have kept popping into my mind all day. I'm hoping this feeling in the pit of my stomach will ease up soon.
I'm looking forward to keeping up with this. I'm not the wordsmith I was many years ago but will do the best I can.
We'll keep Mac and Ilo in the forefront and have some fun with them. Love to all here..and there.

ReplyDeleteFirst of all, it was so nice to see you guys, even if it was for a very short time. And oh my goodness, Grandma looked AMAZING! I haven't seen her look so wonderful in a long time. The night we showed up so unexpectedly, her hair was all done up, she had just gone to get her makeup and nails done, and she had no idea we were coming :) It was so nice to see her and Gdaddy so happy and looking so wonderful, especially in such a scary time like this! She's a fighter and an amazing woman. I won't ever forget Christmas, 5 years ago, when she started saying her 'goodbyes'... and then Patti yelled at her, 'oh mom c'mon now'. I don't think she had any idea how much fight she had left in her :) Love her and love all of you! <3
